We start with a ready-to-wear shirt whose collar and shoulder already work, then have a tailor alter the body and sleeve to your profile. Ready-to-wear asks you to accept whatever the label decided; we choose a better starting shirt first, then change the parts that should be changed.
Cloth is confirmed with you before anything is altered. Tell us how the shirt will be worn — boardroom, wedding, every day — and we match the cloth to the job rather than selling you the same bolt for all three.
Your measurement profile takes about ten minutes and is needed before we can alter your shirt.
Payment is handled by Stripe — we never see your card details.

Plainly stated, so there is nothing to discover after the fact.
No camera, no body scan, no algorithm guessing at your proportions from a photograph. A tape measure, ten defined points, and a guide that walks you through each one. We choose the starting shirt for collar and shoulder fit before any alteration begins.
Every profile is reviewed before a shirt is altered. If your chest reads smaller than your waist, or a sleeve comes back longer than half your height, we catch it and come back to you. Automated tailoring fails quietly; we would rather ask.
The last adjustments to a shirt are made by hand, on a bench, in Perth. That is slower than a factory and it is deliberate — it is also why we can guarantee the fit rather than estimate it.
Your profile is stored against your account and used to make your clothing. We do not sell it, license it, or train anything on it. You can export it as a printed slip and take it to any tailor in the world, including one who isn't us.
